How It Works

A Tech-Wall Stretched-Fabric Wall System utilizes a three-part process starting with the Fabric Mounting Frame, also known as Track. First, the Fabric Mounting Track is stapled or screwed onto the wall in the desired dimensions of the Fabric Wall Panels. This alows you to create both stand-alone acoustical panels or cover the entire wall in fabric. The second step is to add an acoustical or tackable core material within the perimeter of the Fabric Mounting Track/frame. Our track system is designed to work with a variety of common acoustical and tackable materials, such as polyester fiber board, mineral wool, poly batting, and fiberglass board insulation. The final step is installing the fabric into the gripping jaws of the fabric mounting track. Although almost any fabric can be used with our Mounting Track System, we recommend using one of the many Guilford of Maine Acoustic Panel Fabrics that we offer.
